Our oak beams are dried for a number of years, resulting in a aged look with cracks and splits that add character. You can choose beams with many finishes from sanded with rounded edges to a fully oiled finish. Sanding can restore the French oak’s light colour, contrasting with the darker, weathered appearance of sawn beams—while preserving the natural knots and splits that make each beam unique.
